Short term

TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT...The ridge axis has shifted south of the islands will continue to hold gentle east winds tonight. With the ridge near the islands, stable conditions will persist through Sunday night. However, the RAOB from the afternoon suggest a saturated and an unstable airmass over the islands. Moist easterly flow will bring scattered showers across the islands tonight and the short term. Expect scattered showers for the weekend and gentle east winds moving over the area on Saturday night.

.Long term... TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...Scattered showers from the easterlies flow will remain throughout the new week. With the ridge to the south, gentle east winds and scattered showers will remain through the rest of the new week.

Marine

Seas of 4 to 6 feet will build 5 to 7 feet tonight as gentle east winds will move across the islands. This will persist through Tuesday. Southwest swells will elevate seas 7 to 9 feet on Tuesday night through Wednesday night. As swells pass and subside, seas will again drop 5 to 7 feet on Thursday morning. No other significant swells or wind generated seas are expected to impact the islands through the rest of the new week
