Rock River at Como affecting Whiteside County.
Rock River at Moline affecting Rock Island and Henry IL Counties.
Rock River near Joslin affecting Rock Island, Henry IL and Whiteside Counties.

Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

Until late Tuesday morning.
Impacts
At 13.0 feet, Flood Stage. Water affects low lying sections of Freeport mainly east of the Pecatonica River.

- At 9:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.3 feet and steady. - Forecast...The river is expected to gradually rise to a crest of 13.4 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
What to do
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

- Stay away from areas where water levels can rise rapidly, like storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
- If you are trapped in a building, move to the highest floor and call 911. Go to the roof only if necessary.
- Do not go into any room where electrical cords or outlets are under water. Stay out of water that may have electricity in it!
- If your vehicle is trapped in rapidly moving water, stay inside. If water is rising inside the vehicle, move to the roof and signal for help.
