At 10.0 feet, The river is at flood stage. Some residences begin to be affected by flood water and the Winamac town park floods.

- At 11:00 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 9.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 10.1 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
What to do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
