Rainy and cooler today

Created by the NWS Caribou WFO

Good Morning, Expect a rainy end to the weekend along with cooler temperatures. The rain will taper off this evening, and end as a brief period of snow across northern areas, with around an inch or so of accumulation possible. Even cooler weather is expected Monday with a stray snow shower possible. Unseasonably cool weather is expected much of the upcoming week with no big storm systems expected. Note: Rainfall today will result rising water levels on area streams and rivers. While no flooding is expected, the combination of the rain and snow-melt will result in locally high water levels on the St. John River.
