Frost/Freeze Conditions Tonight

Created by the NWS Charleston WFO

Scattered showers come to an end this morning behind last night's cold frontal passage. A passing disturbance tonight will promote light rain showers in the lowlands and snow showers along the higher WV mountains. Additionally, colder temperatures filtering into the area today and tonight will yield frost/freeze conditions for the bulk of the forecast area. Unprotected crops and sensitive vegetation may be impacted by the sub-freezing temperatures tonight, and once again Monday night into Tuesday. Currently, a Frost Advisory and Freeze Warning are in effect for areas that could be impacted by the frost and freeze tonight into Monday morning.
