.The Flood Warning for the Wisconsin River at Castle Rock Dam has been cancelled. Meanwhile, moderate flooding is forecast to continue along the Wisconsin River at Muscoda, WI.

Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

At 10.0 feet, There is extensive lowland flooding. However no flooding has been reported in Muscoda in previous years.

- At 9:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 9.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 AM CDT Sunday was 9.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.0 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.0 feet on 04/14/1951. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.

- Stay away from areas where water levels can rise rapidly, like storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
- If you are trapped in a building, move to the highest floor and call 911. Go to the roof only if necessary.
- Do not go into any room where electrical cords or outlets are under water. Stay out of water that may have electricity in it!
- If your vehicle is trapped in rapidly moving water, stay inside. If water is rising inside the vehicle, move to the roof and signal for help.
