Flooding caused by standing water in roads along Rio Culebrinas.

Aguada.

Impacts

Minor flooding in poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings remain impassable.

Additional Details

- At 1146 AM AST, emergency managers indicated that roads PR-418, PR-439, and PR-115 along Rio Culebrinas in Aguada remain with slow moving or standing water. These roads are still impassable and remain closed. This advisory will remain in place while the threat continues, and may be upgraded to a warning, if conditions warrant, with the onset of the afternoon convection over northwestern Puerto Rico.

What to do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
