Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. The combination of saturated soils and wind could also lead to downed trees, especially already damaged or diseased trees.
Additional Details
There will be two rounds of strong and gusty winds. The first round will occur Tuesday afternoon through evening followed by a lull in winds late Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon. The second round of strong winds will be Wednesday night through Thursday morning.
Rain will accompany both rounds of wind. Rain intensity looks particularly heavy late Wednesday night through early Thursday morning, which could lead to downed trees due to saturated soils.

Heads up Southcentral! The next few days will see gusty winds and continued rainfall across the region. An uptick in winds is forecast on Tuesday with gustier winds Wednesday into Thursday. Marine areas will see the strongest winds from Cook Inlet down into the Shelikof Strait.
