Impacts
Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Dipnetters and other recreational activities along Cook Inlet beaches will be impacted by high winds and rough seas, with 8 to 12 foot waves coming off of Cook Inlet.
Additional Details
The strongest winds will occur Thursday morning between around 7am and Noon. Cook Inlet beaches, especially from the Kenai River to Nikiski will see the highest wind gusts.

Heads up Southcentral! The next few days will see gusty winds and continued rainfall across the region. An uptick in winds is forecast on Tuesday with gustier winds Wednesday into Thursday. Marine areas will see the strongest winds from Cook Inlet down into the Shelikof Strait.
