Flood Watch - Haines and Skagway

A Flood Watch for the northern inner channels including Skagway and Haines is in effect from 4:00 AM Sunday to 4:00 AM Monday. A series of lows will bring prolonged rainfall during the weekend, with 24 hour amounts up to 1 to 2 inches. This excessive rainfall combined with ice melt will bring significant river rises with the possibility of minor flooding.
