The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida
Manatee River Near Myakka Head at SR 64 affecting Manatee County.
Peace River At Zolfo Springs at SR 17 affecting Hardee County.
Alafia River At Lithia affecting Hillsborough County.
Peace River At Arcadia at SR 70 affecting DeSoto County.
Horse Creek Near Arcadia at SR 72 affecting DeSoto County.
.Heavy rain of 5 to 10 inches across portions of west central Florida caused several rivers across the region to remain in flood stage over the next few days.

Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

Impacts
At 11.0 feet, Private road and bridge 1 mile downstream flood. Agricultural, rural Kibler area begins to flood.

- At 7:15 PM EST Tuesday the stage was 12.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:15 PM EST Tuesday was 12.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning and continue falling to 6.5 feet Friday evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.4 feet on 08/15/2012. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
What to Do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

A Flood Warning means that dangerous flooding is expected or already happening. Take immediate action to protect yourself and your home.
- If your home is likely to flood, or if authorities tell you to evacuate, do so immediately and move to higher ground.
- Never walk, swim, or drive through flood waters or flooded roads.
- Stay away from areas where water levels can rise rapidly, like storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
- If you are trapped in a building, move to the highest floor and call 911. Go to the roof only if necessary.
- Do not go into any room where electrical cords or outlets are under water. Stay out of water that may have electricity in it!
- If your vehicle is trapped in rapidly moving water, stay inside. If water is rising inside the vehicle, move to the roof and signal for help.
