Central Illinois Forecast

Central Illinois will enjoy a reprieve from summertime heat and humidity over the next several days. High temperatures will only reach the 70s on Wednesday and Thursday before slowly climbing later in the week. A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible along and southwest of a Rushville to Springfield line on Friday, otherwise dry conditions are expected. After the stretch of cool weather, summer will return in full force by Sunday as highs rise back into the 90s.
