Hotter with Spotty Storm Chances Through Mid-week

Early June heat will begin to build into the region this weekend, with spotty storm chances returning Sunday into Monday. The risk of severe weather during this period is low. Temperatures climb even higher by Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the 90s leading to a moderate to major Heat Risk. Plan now to ensure you have access to adequate cooling. As a cold front moves into this hot and humid air mass, we could see scattered strong to severe storms develop Tuesday night and/or Wednesday.
