Today will be warm and humid with highs in the mid 80s to near 90. After a lull through early afternoon, scattered thunderstorms develop again across portions of central into southern Iowa late this afternoon into evening. A few stronger storms may bring gusty winds or hail. Renewed showers and storms Sunday into Monday bring another threat for heavy rain which could lead to localized flooding in urban areas or locations with saturated soils from recent rainfall, like in portions of southern Iowa.
