Severe Storms Late This Afternoon and Evening

Scattered storms are likely to develop after 5 PM today along a cold front over eastern and northeast Kansas. Some of these storms will be severe mainly for wind gusts around 65 mph, although large hail and heavy rainfall are also possible. Scattered showers and storms continue overnight into Sunday, however severe chances are low. Much needed cooler air arrives Sunday into next week with highs in the 60s and 70s- enjoy!
