* Flash Flood Warning for... South Central Bullitt County in central Kentucky... Southeastern Hardin County in central Kentucky... Larue County in central Kentucky... Marion County in central Kentucky... Southwestern Nelson County in central Kentucky...
* Until 830 PM EDT.
* At 534 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Lebanon, Hodgenville, Lebanon Junction, New Haven, Loretto, Raywick, New Hope, Gethsemane and Gleanings.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely and have them relay your report to the National Weather Service in Louisville.

- If you are trapped in a building, move to the highest floor and call 911. Go to the roof only if necessary.
- If your vehicle is trapped in rapidly moving water, stay inside. If water is rising inside the vehicle, move to the roof and signal for help.

- At 655 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported water rescues earlier this afternoon. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... - At 409 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Elizabethtown, Shepherdsville, Pioneer Village, Radcliff, Mount Washington, Hillview, Vine Grove, Lebanon Junction, Hebron Estates and Muldraugh. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
