* Tornado Warning for... Southeastern Laurel County in south central Kentucky... Northwestern Knox County in southeastern Kentucky... West central Clay County in southeastern Kentucky...
* Until 730 PM EDT.
* At 701 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Sublimity City, or near London, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near... London around 705 PM EDT. Lesbas around 710 PM EDT. Tuttle around 715 PM EDT. Cane Creek around 720 PM EDT.
Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include Blackwater.
What to Do
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for south central and southeastern Kentucky. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for south central and southeastern Kentucky.
To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service JACKSON KY.
Remember, a Tornado Warning still remains in effect for portions of Laurel County.

Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where
Portions of east central, northeast, south central, and southeast Kentucky, including the following counties, in east central Kentucky, Bath, Elliott, Estill, Fleming, Menifee, Montgomery, Powell and Rowan. In northeast Kentucky, Johnson and Martin. In south central Kentucky, Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne and Whitley. In southeast Kentucky, Bell, Breathitt, Clay, Floyd, Harlan, Jackson, Knott, Knox, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Magoffin, Morgan, Owsley, Perry, Pike and Wolfe.

Impacts
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

There is an Enhanced (Level 3/5) Risk for severe thunderstorms in locations north of the Hal Rogers Parkway/Highway 80 corridors today. Locations further to the south are under a Slight (Level 2/5) Risk. There could be multiple rounds of activity through tonight, but the most likely timing for severe weather is in the afternoon and evening hours. All severe weather hazards are possible, but the main concern is for damaging wind gusts within a line of prefrontal storms this evening.
