* Tornado Warning for... Northeastern Monroe County in south central Kentucky... Northwestern Cumberland County in south central Kentucky... Southern Metcalfe County in south central Kentucky...
* Until 645 PM CDT.
* At 557 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Edmonton, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Monroe, northwestern Cumberland and southern Metcalfe Counties, including the following locations... Waterview, Meshack, Cofer, Persimmon, Curtis, Cyclone, Ellington, Goodluck, Willow Shade, and Grider.
What to Do
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

In north central Kentucky, Henry, Larue, Nelson, Shelby, Spencer and Washington KY. In south central Kentucky, Adair, Allen, Barren, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Hart, Lincoln, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell and Taylor.

Impacts
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.
