Tropical Storm Bertha Update
Created by the NWS New Orleans/Baton Rouge WFO
Bertha is moving slowly westward and is forecast to make landfall in SE Louisiana on Wednesday afternoon. It currently has maximum winds of 60 mph and is expected to remain a tropical storm as it moves through coastal southeastern Louisiana. Bertha will bring the following impacts to southeastern Louisiana and Mississippi: minor to moderate storm surge flooding, especially east of the MS River; strong/gusty winds potentially leading to isolated power outages; and a few storms with locally heavy rainfall.
