At 13.0 feet, Loraine Road will begin to flood at 13 feet making driving hazardous. River Road near Three Rivers Road bridge will begin to flood.

- At 9:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 3.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 13.5 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage Monday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.6 feet on 05/29/1976. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

- Stay away from areas where water levels can rise rapidly, like storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
- If you are trapped in a building, move to the highest floor and call 911. Go to the roof only if necessary.
- Do not go into any room where electrical cords or outlets are under water. Stay out of water that may have electricity in it!
- If your vehicle is trapped in rapidly moving water, stay inside. If water is rising inside the vehicle, move to the roof and signal for help.

A surface trough will drift north from the central Gulf today and into Louisiana on Saturday, bringing squalls of heavy rain and storms. Timing: Will be more numerous during the afternoon hours, but could still have scattered to isolated showers and storms overnight Saturday night especially near the coast. Daily risks for a few locally strong storms and hazardous marine conditions can be expected. Plan accordingly and be weather aware!
