In Ohio, Lorain, Cuyahoga, Lake and Ashtabula Lakeshore Counties. In Pennsylvania, Northern Erie County.
When
Through Wednesday evening.
Impacts
Wind and wave action will cause currents on the lakeshore. Swimmers should not enter the water. Currents can carry swimmers away from shore through a sand bar and along structures extending out into the lake.
What to Do
Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.

- Stay off of rocks and jetties due to dangerous conditions
- Stay out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions, and stay near occupied lifeguard towers

Scattered Severe Storms Possible Today

Multiple rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms are possible today. The first round will be this morning into this afternoon with a second round in the eastern half of the area possible this evening. Damaging wind gusts will be the main hazard, but tornadoes and large hail remain possible.
