Very Hot This Week

A prolonged stretch of very hot temperatures is expected through the weekend. A Heat Advisory is in effect for areas off the Caprock both today and on Wednesday. Additional Heat Advisories will likely be needed later this week, as near-record temperatures are possible on Friday and Saturday. A few storms are possible on Friday night (20%), otherwise dry conditions will prevail.
