* Flash Flood Warning for... Aguada County in Puerto Rico... Las Marias County in Puerto Rico... Moca County in Puerto Rico... San Sebastian County in Puerto Rico...
* Until 630 PM AST.
* At 350 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
What to Do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or creeks.

Tips to Stay Safe
A Flash Flood Warning means that dangerous flooding is expected or already happening. Flash flooding can develop in hours or minutes, so take protective action now.
- If you are in a low-lying or flood prone area, move to higher ground immediately.
- Stay off bridges over fast-moving water, and away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
- Never walk, swim, or drive through flood waters or flooded roads.
- If you are trapped in a building, move to the highest floor and call 911. Go to the roof only if necessary.
- If your vehicle is trapped in rapidly moving water, stay inside. If water is rising inside the vehicle, move to the roof and signal for help.

A Heat Advisory is in effect from 10 AM to 5 PM AST for Puerto Rico, including Culebra and Vieques, and for St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix. Most heat-sensitive people may be affected; drink water often, take frequent breaks, and limit strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day. El calor nunca se fue del todo, pero hoy aumenta nuevamente el riesgo por calor. | Una Advertencia de Calor está vigente de 10 AM a 5 PM AST para Puerto Rico, incluyendo Culebra y Vieques, y para St. Thomas, St. John y St. Croix.
