A dry cold front will move through region overnight with clouds followed by a reinforcing shot of colder air. This will allow temperatures to fall into the mid to upper 30s by around sunrise Monday. Patchy frost will be possible, especially in low-lying, sheltered locales. Those with sensitive vegetation should consider taking precautions tonight.

A period of drier and cooler weather has returned for eastern Kentucky. This will lead to the potential for several locations to see frost over the next couple of nights. Warmer weather returns by mid-week along with chances of showers and thunderstorms.
