Fire Weather Concerns Return Sunday

Created by the NWS Pueblo WFO

With the warm, dry and windy conditions returning to the region, fire weather concerns will be on the increase across the region. Fire weather watches have been issued for the gap flow areas in Fremont and Huerfano counties for Sunday due to warm temperatures, low humidity values and increasingly windy conditions. There is a very good chance that additional Fire Weather Watches and Red Flag Warnings will be issued for the region this upcoming week. #cowx.
