Impacts
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

- At 925 AM EST, flooding continues across the warned area and emergency management has reported numerous road closures across portions of southern Brevard County and the Treasure Coast. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... - If your home is likely to flood, or if authorities tell you to evacuate, do so immediately and move to higher ground.
- Never walk, swim, or drive through flood waters or flooded roads.
- Stay away from areas where water levels can rise rapidly, like storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
- If you are trapped in a building, move to the highest floor and call 911. Go to the roof only if necessary.
- Do not go into any room where electrical cords or outlets are under water. Stay out of water that may have electricity in it!
- If your vehicle is trapped in rapidly moving water, stay inside. If water is rising inside the vehicle, move to the roof and signal for help.

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida
St Johns River Near Cocoa 9w affecting Brevard County.
.Heavy rainfall has caused the St. Johns River near Cocoa to rise into Minor Flood Stage. The river is forecast to climb into Moderate Flood Stage in the next couple days, approaching Major Flood Stage late in the week.
For the St. Johns River...including Cocoa 9w...Moderate flooding is forecast.

Impacts
At 17.0 feet, Flooding to some roads and water approaching low lying homes in the Silver Pines subdivision in Rockledge. Many yards, ditches and pastures flooded and water approaching low lying structures along Pluckebaum Road in Cocoa and Rockledge. Flooding to low lying structures in the Lake Washington area of Melbourne.

What to Do
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.

Dangerous rip currents.
Where
Coastal Volusia, Coastal Brevard, Coastal Indian River, Coastal Saint Lucie and Coastal Martin counties.
When
Through late Wednesday night.
Impacts
Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. Breaking surf of 3 to 4 feet expected.
What to Do
Rip currents are powerful channels of water flowing quickly away from shore, which occur most often at low spots or breaks in the sandbar and in the vicinity of structures such as jetties and piers. Heed the advice of lifeguards, beach patrol flags and signs.
Entering the surf is strongly discouraged. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.

Rip currents may create dangerous swimming conditions in the area.
- If you enter the water, always have a flotation device with you and swim near a lifeguard.
