* At 443 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Charles, or 8 miles northwest of Lumpkin, moving south at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Lumpkin, Charles, Louvale, Providence Canyon State Park, and Sanford.

At 436 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Louvale, or 9 miles southwest of Cusseta, moving southwest at 20 mph.
HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind, frequent cloud to ground lightning and heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of light, unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.
Locations impacted include... Lumpkin, Charles, Louvale, and Providence Canyon State Park.
What to Do
People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Motorists should slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to hydroplaning.
