T-Storms Tonight into Wednesday

Good Afternoon! Rain moves in tonight after 8 PM resulting in a soaking rainfall over much of the area, especially further south. If the sun is able to break through the clouds tomorrow, some severe thunderstorms capable of producing gusty winds are possible. Rain with embedded thunder increases in coverage south to north this evening. Rain rates may be heavy at times, with localized amounts greater than 1 inch possible. A passing cold front will initiate showers and thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon. A few of these storms may be strong to severe, with gusty winds the primary threat.
