Missouri River at Napoleon affecting Ray, Lafayette and Jackson Counties.

Impacts
At 17.0 feet, Lowland flooding upstream and downstream from St. Joseph occurs. At 19.0 feet, Backwater from the Missouri River floods property along the Nodaway river at Nodaway, Missouri. At 21.0 feet, Riverfront Park in St. Joseph begins to flood.

- At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 19.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Saturday afternoon and continue falling to 8.7 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.

- Never walk, swim, or drive through flood waters or flooded roads.
- Stay away from areas where water levels can rise rapidly, like storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
- If you are trapped in a building, move to the highest floor and call 911. Go to the roof only if necessary.
- Do not go into any room where electrical cords or outlets are under water. Stay out of water that may have electricity in it!
- If your vehicle is trapped in rapidly moving water, stay inside. If water is rising inside the vehicle, move to the roof and signal for help.

102 River at Rosendale affecting Andrew and Buchanan Counties.
What
Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

102 River at Rosendale.
When
Until early Monday morning.
Impacts
At 13.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding begins. At 18.0 feet, State Route 48 on the east side of Rosendale is overtopped by flood waters. At 19.0 feet, State Route 48 on the east and west sides of Rosendale is under water. At 20.0 feet, State Route 48 is flooded on the east and west sides of town which prevents travel in or out of town.

- At 6:47 PM CDT Friday the stage was 19.9 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late this morning to 17.2 feet this afternoon. It will then rise above flood stage late this afternoon to 19.0 feet just after midnight tonight. Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County.
What
Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
Where
Platte River near Agency.
When
Until late Tuesday evening.
Impacts
At 20.0 feet, Low-lying areas east of Agency begin to flood. At 25.0 feet, Flooding begins at the east border of Agency. At 30.0 feet, Many farm levees along the river are overtopped and nearly all rural roads are under water.

- At 7:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 28.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 28.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall early tomorrow afternoon. It will rise to 25.8 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday evening. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Showers/thunderstorms will be possible (20-30%) this afternoon and evening. Uncertainty remains on exactly where these storms will initially develop. A few stronger storms will be possible along and north of US-36. Flooding concerns will persist with any additional heavy rain we get through the weekend. Hot and humid conditions are expected next week.
