The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Missouri
102 River at Maryville affecting Andrew and Nodaway Counties.

Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

Impacts
At 18.0 feet, The east bank of the river floods. Water also approaches the village of Arkoe.

- At 7:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 18.7 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 19.2 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this afternoon to 8.9 feet early Tuesday morning. It will rise to 9.0 feet Tuesday morning. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

- Never walk, swim, or drive through flood waters or flooded roads.
- Stay away from areas where water levels can rise rapidly, like storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
- If you are trapped in a building, move to the highest floor and call 911. Go to the roof only if necessary.
- Do not go into any room where electrical cords or outlets are under water. Stay out of water that may have electricity in it!
- If your vehicle is trapped in rapidly moving water, stay inside. If water is rising inside the vehicle, move to the roof and signal for help.

Showers/thunderstorms will be possible (20-30%) this afternoon and evening. Uncertainty remains on exactly where these storms will initially develop. A few stronger storms will be possible along and north of US-36. Flooding concerns will persist with any additional heavy rain we get through the weekend. Hot and humid conditions are expected next week.
