Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and increased in duration for the following rivers in Missouri
Platte River near Platte City affecting Platte County.

Impacts
At 20.0 feet, Cropland near State Highway 92 near Platte City begins to flood. At 22.0 feet, Flooding occurs at Humphreys Access Area which is located 5 miles downstream from Platte City. 300 acres of pasture are also flooded. At 25.0 feet, Water overtops 1st Street in Tracy, Missouri.

- At 7:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 25.0 feet Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Tuesday evening. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

- If your vehicle is trapped in rapidly moving water, stay inside. If water is rising inside the vehicle, move to the roof and signal for help.

Platte River At Sharps Station affecting Platte County.

From this morning to early Wednesday afternoon.
Impacts
At 26.0 feet, Low-lying rural land along the river begins to flood. At 29.0 feet, Backwater from the Platte River floods Highway KK along the Little Platte River at the location 0.2 miles east of Highway B. At 30.5 feet, Interurban Road floods about 1.5 miles southeast of Sharps Station. At 31.5 feet, The south approach to the Highway B bridge over the Little Platte River is under water due to backwater from the Platte River.

Showers/thunderstorms will be possible (20-30%) this afternoon and evening. Uncertainty remains on exactly where these storms will initially develop. A few stronger storms will be possible along and north of US-36. Flooding concerns will persist with any additional heavy rain we get through the weekend. Hot and humid conditions are expected next week.
