At 305 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southwest of Cuba, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include... Cuba.
This includes Highway 550 between Mile Markers 56 and 71.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large hail.

Impacts
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.
Additional Details
- At 247 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms south of Torreon Navajo Mission and north of Marquez. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.25 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area.
