* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Creek County in northeastern Oklahoma... West Central Tulsa County in northeastern Oklahoma...
* Until 215 PM CDT.
* At 1106 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

A Flash Flood Warning means that dangerous flooding is expected or already happening. Flash flooding can develop in hours or minutes, so take protective action now.
- If you are in a low-lying or flood prone area, move to higher ground immediately.
- Stay off bridges over fast-moving water, and away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
- Never walk, swim, or drive through flood waters or flooded roads.
- If you are trapped in a building, move to the highest floor and call 911. Go to the roof only if necessary.
- If your vehicle is trapped in rapidly moving water, stay inside. If water is rising inside the vehicle, move to the roof and signal for help.

Impacts
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
Additional Details
- At 833 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected over the area. From Sunday morning through Sunday evening.
Impacts
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

- Widespread showers with embedded thunderstorms are expected Sunday, with areas of heavy rainfall likely. Rainfall totals may locally reach 3 to 4 inches, and in combination with Saturday's rainfall, may lead to flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
