Flood Watch Through Sunday Afternoon

A Flood Watch has been issued for portions of North Texas due to the potential for several rounds of additional heavy rain this weekend. While most locations will see rainfall amounts of 0.5" to 2.0", localized areas may see upwards of 6" to 8" of rain. As such, flash flooding will be possible this weekend. While the flooding threat is lower outside of the watch area, it is still non-zero across portions of Central and East Texas. As such, please keep an eye on the weather this weekend especially if you have any outdoor plans.
